[PEN] Pilot Petit1 Review

I love pens. There's nothing like that great feeling you get when you sit down to work with a new smooth pen.

Now if you were born in the 21st century, you [should be in school and not on the internet] probably have never even seen a fountain pen, except on the History Channel. This miniature fountain pen by Pilot packs a punch. It comes in a variety of colors, writes great, and its small size is pretty cool. The best part is that it's less than $5! In addition, it uses small tubes of ink that come in packs of 3 for $2.

But because of its small size, I'm a little nervous about the mini ink tubes and how long they last. The ink feathers a little bit on low grade paper and barely bleeds through. Overall, it's a pretty awesome pen for the price and quality. I like it A LOT.

8.5/10

  1. It's one of my all-time favorites! Great "take along" fountain pen.

  2. I'm with you. Love mine, and the cobalt blue color is awesome. It doesn't go a long way, but it's easy to see how much you have left so you can pop a spare capsule in your briefcase.

Also, I think the theme for your blog is exceptionally clever. Hope you do more pen and paper stuff in the future.
