Ok, I'll admit that I brush my teeth twice a day, but I was never really big on flossing. Since I've gotten over Strep throat/Tonsillitis a week ago, I've been flossing and gargling mouthwash every night.
I've gotten used to flossing between my permanent retainer on my lower set of teeth, but I have not gotten used to my floss turning into shreds before I finish flossing. This is because I use Oral-B Essential Floss. By the time I finish flossing, that one thread of floss has turned into 10 smaller threads of floss with a couple that are still stuck between my teeth (like a piece of two-sided tape that sticks to the hand that you're trying to get it off with). I guess I could go buy a different brand of floss, but real men don't buy floss. So I use whatever is lying around. There's a different kind of floss that doesn't tear when I use it, and I'll post that up when I find out what it is.
This floss gets a couple pity points because at least it doesn't rip in half or cause excessive internal bleeding (yet).
