Bored and on the computer with nothing to do? Well you're better off going outside for a jog or reading a book. But if you're still persistent on staying on the computer and wasting your life like millions of others around the globe, then StumbleUpon is for you.
I learned of StumbleUpon from the kid sitting in front and to the right of me in computer class who never did any work. If you haven't heard of it, this feature (which you can also download as an add-on for Firefox) lets you "stumble" around on the internet with just the click of a button. Other members recommend sites and you can choose the kind of websites (sports, technology, news, games) that you want to "stumble" upon. As you click the Stumble button, you'll be randomly directed to some pretty neat sites, according to what you like, that you probably have never been to before.
It kind of does get boring if you run into a lot of pictures of body sculpting (I GOTTA change my preferences), but there's a lot of funny and interesting things to "StumbleUpon." So go and kill some time. You might learn a thing or two in the process.
